Kassandra nocks an arrow, about to draw it to shoot down the creature, but Ikaros beats her to it; with a screech, the eagle swoops and grabs the rodent in his talons, and flies back out the greenhouse door with it clutched in his talons.
That gives Kassandra a chance to run over to the girl.
