[ White was not one of Kris' favourite colours. White clothes got dirty too easily, and thus made it much, much harder to hide what they were up to until the best moment. They distinctly did not remember changing into those clothes either. A notable frown crossed their face as they rose from pool like a shot and quickly abandoned the robe in favour of their usual clothes. They only let themselves take a deep breath when they were back in their familiar green sweater again. Their knife and the Ball of Junk were there too. Good.
The curious-as-always SOUL in their chest dragged them to everything that seemed even remotely interesting, asking them to examine it. Kris could only assume that it didn't know what their wish was. Or maybe it didn't care one way or the other and would just move on to someone else afterward. After what felt like ages, the SOUL finally directed them to leave the room and go into the courtyard.
There were humans here. Kris backed away two steps for every one step the greeters took toward them, and they only just accepted the tablet. Taking the tour was out of the question. Completely and utterly. In any other situation the vigorous shaking of their head might have been comical, but uh... Maybe not so much with the face they were making.

[ There was a reason Toriel had to lock up the chocolate every so often. They had a second stomach for sweets and especially chocolate, so this sort of buffet lineup was just asking to be monopolized. They had scooped up a notable stack of the ice cream bars that had any traces of chocolate in them.
Where was that stack, you may ask? It was on a plate or something, right?
Nope. It was (somehow) perfectly balanced on top of their head. ]

[ Magic. They could learn magic here, despite being a human. They could do more than just ACT. Just wait until Susie heard about this--
Ah.
Toriel would be worried sick by their sudden disappearance, and it seemed safe to assume that Ralsei would be worried. Noelle too, maybe. Susie, though... That thought was quickly shut down. Not because they have convinced themselves of anything, but for other reasons. The SOUL vibrated in their chest in response.
A keen observer would notice that they were giving the House Sun booth a wide berth as they approached the House Stone booth with an unwavering stare. ]
